Happy New Year …

It’s Rosh Hashanah! Although neither Gary nor I really follow the religions of our roots, we like to observe pretty much any holiday or occasion which involves feasting.

Yom Kippur involves fasting, so we ignore that.

Yesterday, I posted a picture of the last of the apples from our trees, and coincidentally this morning I read that apples are traditionally eaten for Rosh Hashanah.

The apples eaten on Rosh Hashanah thus symbolize not only sweetness, but also Paradise…

Today, I’m looking forward to grooming two week shih tzu cross girl dogs, Hanni & Ryla.

Talk to you later!
